Analysis on the Paths of Chinese Democratic Politics Construction
Abstract: Democratization is the basic political trend of contemporary world. The constructing of socialist democracy also becomes one of the most important subjects of China. But for how to carry through our democratic politics construction, people have not achieved an agreement yet, and some different models have been brought forward. Based on gradualism theory, this paper firstly reviews some influential models, and then analyses some basic matters. Finally, this paper makes a series of suggestions about the paths of our democratic politics construction. They are: from governable democracy to protective democracy, from imposed democracy to induced democracy, from inner-Party democracy to people’s democracy, and from deliberative democracy to electoral democracy.
